How It Works
The basic idea is simple. Your members or audience can pay to have selected video commercials to air on cable television networks almost anywhere throughout the USA. Individuals can make their own purchase of air time - for as little as $100 to start. There are no large minimum requirements which typcially keep supporters from access to the cable advertising market.
Here are the steps:
Establish the program
We work with you to set up the program on Put It On TV on Facebook. All that is needed is a cause, campaign, candidate, product or service. You probably already have an established or accessible member base. The member base does not need to be on Facebook, but each user will have to use Facebook to purchase the commercials. You may already have a large Facebook following to tap into.
Acquire or produce the videos
The key to the success of any program is the quality of the videos. People will only pay to have the videos aired if they like what they see. The videos need to be 25 seconds long, which leaves 5 seconds at the end of the message to include a mention of the person purchasing the air time.
There are many sources of video. Your own organization may already have existing videos available. Your members may be interested in creating videos to support your cause. And we can put you in contact with video producers who can make outstanding commercials that will get the viewing audience's attention.
The videos need to meet certain standards - both in quality and content - to be able to be shown on television. We handle all of the distribution to the cable providers and obtain their approval.

Your program can be included with other similar programs, or it can stand alone.
When users show up on Put It On TV, they will select:
The Video. The commercials will be selected from a list of approved videos shown on the site.
The Market. The market where the videos will be broadcast. The markets can cover all of the major TV markets in the US or be limited to where you want them to be shown.
The Number of Commercials to be Purchased. The program will show the cable channels and cost per commercial based on each market chosen. The cost of the air time is determined by many factors such as the media market, the type of cable channel, and the time of day. We work with media buyers to get the most use of the dollars spent.
Personalization. Each video will provide the opportunity for the purchaser to see his or her name included at the end of the video, giving them recognition for supporting your cause.

Promote the program
Once the videos have been produced and program is added to Put it On TV, it is important to drive traffic to the program. We can help you out on messaging to your existing membership or to reach out to interested target groups. Report the results
